Empowering Children, Protecting Futures

SPIRESPIRE-CHILD 2023

Project Overview

The SPIRE-CHILD 2023 project was born out of national outrage and compassion following the Rizwana Abuse Case, which highlighted the urgent gaps in Pakistan’s child protection systems.
SPIRE-CHILD brought together stakeholders from across Pakistan — the Pakistan Pediatric Association, Senate of Pakistan, Bar Association, National Commission for Rights of Children (NCRC), and APPNA — to begin building a structured framework for child safety, legal reform, and social advocacy.

The initiative envisions a Pakistan where every child is valued, protected, and empowered — aware of their self-worth and capable of contributing to their communities with confidence and independence.
